Marilyn Black Landscape Artist

About Marilyn Black
My exploration of painting has travelled towards abstraction. It is fun to explore the landscape by manipulating line and colour.
I have attended art and design courses at Georgian College, Sir Sanford Fleming College and the MacLaren Art Centre.
I started drawing with Marlene Hilton-Moore at Georgian College. Later I studied acrylics with Lia Lewis-Irving, Dennis Cliff, John Leonard, Douglas Walton, Mary Wood, Steve Rose, and Ernestine Tahidl, water colour with Graham Scholes and Kai Liis MacInnis, and print making with Stephany Rayner and Tim Laurin.
My work has been exhibited at MacLaren's Off The Hook and Benefactor Programme, The Beach Studio Tour, Tiffin Conservation Centre, New Tecumseth Studio Tour, Uxbridge Studio Tour, Midhurst Studio Tour, International Women's Day Art Show at Orillia Museum of Art and History, Arts by the River in Alliston and local restaurants.
